Booyah.

Big day. Three films, starting the fourth as I write this.

First up though, back to the first film of the year for a bit. I dunno. It wasn't all that bad, but the hinge that they put the plot on killed me. I just couldn't suspend disbelief.

This happens all the time, the cold fusion plot in THE SAINT, the hover tank in SGT. BILKO. Now, sure, these aren't great films and it's probably a little unfair on the plots to blame their unbelievable hinges for the quality of the entire movies, but it doesn't help.

Furthermore, in relation to HAPPY FEET, it's actually kinda insulting to think that what it would take for people to start giving a shit about environmental welfare is some tap dancing penguins. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, sure, but do we really need our egos stroked that much before we'll get off our arses?
